Sirius AI ("Sirius," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Sirius platform and its associated products including Orbit, Vett, and Rounds (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Services.
By creating an account or using any Sirius product, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We collect only what we need to operate the Services and make them work well for you.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create a Sirius account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google's authentication service.
Profile information. Depending on which Sirius product you use, you may provide additional information such as your job title, current employer, location, skills, resume content, LinkedIn URL, or company information. This information is always optional beyond what is required to use a specific feature.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with our Services — pages visited, features used, actions taken, and time spent. This helps us improve the product and understand what is working.
Communications. If you contact us by email or through the Services, we retain that correspondence.
Payment information. If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
Technical data. We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring URLs when you access the Services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account across all Sirius products
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services
- Personalize your experience within each product
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send transactional emails — account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts
- Send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
- Comply with legal obligations
- Respond to your support requests and communications
We use your resume and profile data specifically to power AI features within the product you are using — for example, tailoring a cover letter or scoring a job match. This data is processed through AI systems to deliver these features and is not used to train any AI model.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We work with third-party companies that help us operate the Services — including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). These providers have access to your information only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- AI processing. User-submitted content may be sent to AI system providers to power features like resume review, candidate scoring, and cover letter generation. This content is processed in real time and not retained by the AI provider for training purposes beyond what their policies specify.
- Vett recruiter visibility. If you use Orbit and opt in to recruiter discovery, basic profile information (name, skills, location, experience) may be visible to Vett users who are hiring for matching roles. You can turn this off at any time in your account settings.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
- Business transfers. If Sirius is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this occurs.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. You can update or correct your account information at any time from your account settings.
- Deletion. You can request that we delete your account and associated personal data by emailing us at samleebu12@gmail.com.
- Opt out of marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
- Recruiter visibility. Orbit users can opt out of appearing in Vett recruiter searches at any time from account settings.
- Data portability. You can request an export of your personal data in a machine-readable format.

Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Services. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and keep you signed in.

- Analytics cookies — help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.

Security

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sirius is based in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer.
